Acceptance and scope
These terms govern access to and use of this portfolio. By browsing the site, you acknowledge that you have read them; if you disagree, you should stop using it.
The site is intended for people who want to learn about my work, explore professional services or start a conversation about a digital project.
Purpose of the site
The portfolio presents my profile, experience, projects and web development services. Its content is informational and may be updated as my services or work change.
Published information does not replace legal, financial or technical advice prepared for your specific circumstances.
Services, prices and currency
Displayed prices are starting points for a conversation. They are not a final quote or an automatic offer to contract.
- The final price depends on the agreed scope, features, deliverables, timing and integrations.
- CRC conversion uses the selling exchange rate published by Costa Rica's Ministry of Finance as an informational reference; the proposal will state the applicable currency and exchange rate.
- This site does not directly process purchases, charges or payments.
Proposal and engagement
Submitting a form, opening WhatsApp or requesting information starts a conversation. By itself, it does not create a contract, reserve availability or bind either party.
Before work begins, we define the scope, deliverables, schedule, price, payment method, revisions, support and ownership or licensing terms in writing. If a specific proposal or contract conflicts with these terms, the project-specific agreement controls.
Inquiries and communications
When contacting me, you agree to provide truthful, lawful and sufficient information to understand the inquiry.
- The form prepares a message on your device; you can review it before sending it through WhatsApp.
- A reply or preliminary conversation does not amount to accepting a project unless expressly confirmed in writing.
- Do not send credentials, financial data or sensitive information that is unnecessary to evaluate the project.
Intellectual property
The design, code, text, photographs, animation and other original content in this portfolio belong to Gabriel Cabalceta or are used under the corresponding permission, license or attribution.
You may browse and share links to the site. You may not copy, publish, modify, distribute or commercially exploit its content without prior permission, unless a license identified in a repository states otherwise.
Projects and third-party material
Professional projects are identified as collaborations where applicable. Client and third-party brands, logos, interfaces and materials remain the property of their respective owners.
Their appearance is descriptive and for portfolio purposes; it does not claim full ownership of a project or imply a current business relationship.
Permitted use
You must use the site lawfully and without affecting its operation, security or availability.
- Do not attempt unauthorized access to systems, routes, accounts or infrastructure.
- Do not introduce malicious code, automated attacks or traffic intended to degrade the service.
- Do not impersonate others, extract content at scale or use the site to infringe third-party rights.
Links and external services
The site links to or integrates services such as WhatsApp, GitHub, LinkedIn, Spline, hosting providers and other external platforms. Each service operates under its own terms and policies.
I do not control the availability, content or practices of those services. Review their terms before using them.
Availability and liability
I aim to keep the information accurate and the site available, but do not guarantee it will remain free of errors, interruptions or changes. Digital project outcomes also depend on content, decisions, providers and external conditions.
Any limitation of liability applies only to the extent permitted by law. These terms do not reduce any mandatory rights available to a consumer.
Privacy, changes and governing law
Personal data processing is explained in the Privacy notice. These terms may be updated to reflect changes to the site or services; the date at the beginning identifies the current version.
These terms are interpreted under the laws of Costa Rica. If a difference arises, we will first seek a direct solution without limiting access to any authority or remedy recognized by applicable law.
